@@cruzloera4931that isn't even Kermit, it's Sam, who was very similar to Kermit with a different green tone He eventually was reused or another Sam look-alike puppet was made and Kermit was then born in 1969.

Rowlf the Dog was actually the first of Jim Henson's Muppets to regularly appear on television. I had always thought it was Kermit the Frog, so I was surprised to learn this.
Actually Kermitt the Frog was the first to appear on television look up sam and friends it was the first short show of jim henson back in the 50s when he was a young kid and kermitt (well he wasnt considered a frog than ) made his first appearance on the short show.
Maybe *national* television?
I think Jerry Nelson's Baskerville is much better than Jim Henson's.
